EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 20, 2026
Privacy Policy
Dwelling Place 365 is an owner-operated Christian media project. This policy explains how its private publishing tools use Google and YouTube data.
Information the publishing tool may access
When the channel owner authorizes the tool through Google OAuth, it may read the authorized YouTube channel identity and video metadata, upload or manage videos for that channel, and read publication status needed to confirm an upload and prevent duplicates. The tool does not receive the owner's Google password.
How information is used
- Verify that publishing is directed to the intended Dwelling Place 365 channel.
- Upload content that has passed the project's editorial and technical checks.
- Read back title, channel, privacy status, and public URL after publication.
- Maintain publication receipts and prevent accidental duplicate uploads.
Storage and security
During the current foundation phase, OAuth credentials are stored only on the owner-controlled local computer used for publishing. Media files and production records remain private unless the owner publishes them. Future cloud storage features will use private access controls and will be documented here before activation.
Sharing and sale of data
Dwelling Place 365 does not sell Google user data. Data is not shared for advertising. Limited data may be processed by infrastructure providers only as required to host the site, store owner-approved media, or communicate with Google and YouTube APIs.
Retention and deletion
Local credentials are retained until the owner removes them or revokes access. Publication records are retained for duplicate prevention and audit history. The owner may revoke Google access at any time from the Google Account connections page and may request deletion through the support contact shown on the Google authorization screen.
Rights-safe media collection
External images and videos are not treated as reusable merely because they are publicly visible. Candidate assets require documented ownership, public-domain status, an applicable license, or explicit permission before publication.
Contact
Privacy questions may be directed to the support contact displayed during Google authorization or through the official Dwelling Place 365 YouTube channel.
